Imperial IPA

The barrel was from Jack Daniel's and was purchased through Westbrook Brewing.  The ingredients were purchased from Palmetto Brewing.

For 5 gallons at 70% efficiency:

OG =1.086

FG = 1.016

ABV = 9.2%

IBU = 89.4

SRM = 11.4

Grain Bill

12.5 lbs Pale Malt, US 2-row

1.5 lbs Munich Malt

1 lb Crystal 40L

0.75 lb Cara-pils

0.5 lb corn sugar

Hops

3.5 oz Magnum (14.5%) 80 min

1.0 oz Simcoe (13.0%) 30 min

2.0 oz Centennial (10%) 10 min

2.0 oz Citra (10%) 5 min

2.0 oz Centennial (10%) dry hop

1.0 oz Citra dry hop

1.0 oz Simcoe dry hop

Mash at 148 to 150 to get a fermentable wort.  Ferment at 66F with white labs 001, 1056 wyeast, or safale 05.
