Competition Overview
Lowcountry Libations holds several competitions each year, donating proceeds to our local charity, Camp Happy Days (CHD). If you are a commercial brewer looking to run a competition, contact us, we have lots of experience!
Colonial Cup, in April each year, our biggest comp, with over 300 entries, counts towards SHA standings (full SHA schedule below). Winners eligible for GABF ProAm.
Forever Grateful, held during Charleston Beer Week, our small comp capped at 100 entries.
ProAm, LCL members only with Charleston area commercial brewers.
Southeastern Homebrewers Association (SHA) Competition Circuit
Lowcountry Libations is a member club of SHA. Each SHA member club is eligible to hold a competition, the results of which are compiled over the calendar year to determine SHA Brewer of the Year, Mead & Cider Maker of the Year, and Homebrew Club of the Year.
